Deborah Armstrong is a Mental Health Counseling graduate student and experienced Case Manager dedicated to providing person-centered, integrated care for individuals facing complex challenges. Since 2022, she has served at The Center for Community Urban Services, where she manages a large supportive housing caseload and applies evidence-based interventions such as Supported Employment, Motivational Interviewing, and Wellness Self-Management to promote client recovery and independence. Deborah brings over six years of experience from Housing Works Health Home, where she advanced from Care Navigator to Care Manager, coordinating high-volume, integrated care and advocating for access to medical, behavioral, and social services. Her collaborative approach includes partnering with multidisciplinary teams to develop measurable action plans that foster stability and long-term wellness. Deborah’s emerging clinical orientation emphasizes culturally responsive, strengths-based, and data-informed practice, grounded in advocacy, ethics, and empowerment for individuals and families.
